Your rights on Network shifts
Act respecting labour standards (ALS). Mockup — no real service.
1. Same pay.
You earn at least the rate paid to the venue's own employees doing the same job at the same place. It is the law (Act respecting labour standards, s. 41.2).
2. Never a fee.
You pay nothing: not to be placed, not for required training, not for interview help. Ever.
3. Free to be hired.
After 6 months of shifts with the same client, nothing stops them from hiring you directly. We charge no penalty.
4. Paid, guaranteed.
The venue and we are both responsible for your wages. A 15,000$ bond is posted with the CNESST.
5. Your documents.
Before each shift you receive the wage offered, the client's name and address, and the CNESST information sheets.
On a Mon équipe d'extras shift: your employer is the venue. They pay you directly. The same labour standards apply.
